Jersey is well served by a modern telecommunications network, and the new competition law has allowed further competition within the industry. Jersey Telecom are have been joined by Cable & Wireless (Sure) and Airtel Vodafone. Retail outlets for all three can be found in St Helier. Domestic and business telephone services are used throughout the Island as is GSM mobile phone use. Broadband and high-speed Internet connections are easily available to domestic and business consumers.
