IT provider 2e2 has been licensed by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission to host eGaming clients in their state-of-the-art data centre in Guernsey. With 15 years experience in the hosting and co-location business, 2e2 Guernsey is targeted towards supplying a complete package of services to the exciting online gaming industry. 2e2 is confident that this hosting and co-location service will be the best available for eGaming companies licensed by Alderney.

To gain the full Alderney data centre hosting license 2e2 was required to jump through many hoops to prove to the Alderney Gambling Commission that their hosting services met with the strict guidelines on the resilience, reliability and security of their data centre.

The MD of 2e2 Guernsey, Jon Crichard said on gaining the eGaming hosting certificate "This represents an important new strategic direction for 2e2," and added “We provide co-location, hosting, carrier class connectivity and managed services, alongside disaster recovery and distributed denial of service protection (DDoS). These value-added solutions are all available to the global online business marketplace."

Alderney eGambling Limited’s Director of eCommerce Development, Robin Le Prevost said "We warmly welcome 2e2 to Team Alderney, our partnership between the Alderney Government and the commercial sector providing services to our licensees , 2e2 is a highly respected market leading IT business, and has expanded the provision in Guernsey of safe, secure and trusted world class hosting and support."

Robin continued ‘Demand for hosting services for the Alderney eGambling community is increasing exponentially and further capacity adds to our already impressive capabilities. Alderney is by far and away the largest technical hub in the world for eGambling and set to grow further. 2e2 will be joining us at EIG in Copenhagen on our stand No. 249 and we look forward to meeting old and new friends there.'
