GTA University Centre to launch certificate in Digital Marketing
On Tuesday 13 July, Amanda Rogers from the Institute of Direct Marketing will be in the Island to launch the IDM Certificate in Digital Marketing in conjunction with the GTA University Centre.
The course, which will be held over two, three-day sessions, is aimed at those who implement digital campaigns as well as those who specialise in managing internet, email and other online marketing communications.
Students will study fifteen modules in total, including: understanding the digital customer, principles of website design and regulation, permission and codes of practice.
Alison Hawkins, Programmes Supervisor at the GTA University Centre, feels that this is a good opportunity for islanders with an interest in the fast developing sector of online marketing.
‘We recognised that there was a need for a course of this nature on-island and are pleased to be working with Europe’s leading provider of marketing training. The course will provide students with a well structured programme taught by expert tutors, leading to a recognised industry qualification,’ she said.
The presentation will take place on Tuesday 13 July from 12.30pm to 2.30pm at St Peter Port House, Saumarez Street.
