Guernsey Kart and Motor Club prepare to burn rubber in Alderney
The 21st Annual Sprint & Hill Climb: 14-15 September
The Guernsey Kart and Motor Club heads to Alderney on the Friday, 14th September for the 21st Annual Alderney Sprint & Hill Climb. This year’s event is set to be extremely competitive with 57 fearless competitors taking part in the sprint and 62 in the hill climb.
The two day-long event speeds into action at 09:30am on Friday, 14th September with the super fast Sprint. The snake like course runs from the Hammond Memorial to Fort Corblets, giving competitors a real opportunity to put foot to throttle.
Starting at 09.30am, Saturday pushes it to the max with the fastest hill climb in the Channel Islands as motorbikes, sidecars, karts and formula racing cars take on, at terrifying speeds the daunting twisting 845-metre hill known as Tourgis.
Following on Saturday evening there will be a formal presentation, where all competitors will have the chance to unwind and relax, after an action packed weekend.
