Healthspan welcomes new Marketing Director
Healthspan is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Spencer, as Healthspan’s first ever Marketing Director. Healthspan, the UK’s leading supplier of nutritional supplements, now offers more than 150 products including supplements, vitamins, skin-care, cosmetics and veterinary products direct to the consumer.
Robert has relocated from Windsor to Guernsey to take up this new post. He will head up the marketing function for all the direct to consumer brands for Healthspan, Healthy Direct, Healthspan Nurture and VetVits.
Robert’s marketing experience is extensive and he joins Healthspan from the position of Brand Director, Juices & Emerging Opportunities, Coca-Cola Great Britain. There, Robert focused on the development of their Health and Wellbeing range, which has particular relevance to the Healthspan business.
In addition, Robert has undertaken a variety of marketing and commercial roles throughout his career. After completing a BA in Business Studies, he kicked-off his marketing career as a Product Manager at United Biscuits, before moving to RHM, one of Britain’s biggest food producers, where he worked on a range of iconic brands such as Bisto, Paxo, McDougall¹s, Sharwoods, Ocean Spray and Just Juice. He then moved to the Gerber Group, progressing through a variety of roles to Marketing and Business Development Director of the Group.
