New Digital Marketing Qualification offered in Guernsey

A new dynamic qualification will be on offer in Guernsey from March 2010. The Diploma in Digital Marketing, accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing is designed for those marketing professionals who want specialist knowledge and understanding of what digital marketing is and how it relates to the marketing industry. No matter what your role in your company you will benefit from gaining insight into today’s digital arena.

The qualification has been brought to Guernsey by Cambridge Professional Academy in partnership with Channel Islands Training & Development who have together delivered the entire suite of CIM qualifications in the Channel Islands for the past 9 years.

The qualification covers Search Engine Optimisation , Pay Per Click , types of online advertising, email marketing, viral marketing, online PR, affiliate marketing and social media. It also looks at digital metrics, legislation, regulation and codes of practice.

From the spring the module workshops for the Digital Diploma in Marketing will be held in Guernsey. The qualification will be launched at a Guernsey CIM committee Digital Masterclass and drinks evening on 25th February at the Old Government House Hotel.
