OSA Charity Pop Up Shop
This November, Smith Street in St Peter Port will have a new resident, but not for long. OSA Recruitment has decided to put their recently acquired and currently unused shop to good use and is opening the doors of The OSA Charity Pop Up Shop, for the four weeks leading up to Christmas.
Belinda Windsor, Recruitment Manager said “We are offering four local charities/community groups the chance to occupy The OSA Charity Pop Up Shop for one week each. We want them to fill in an application form and tell us what they’d use the space for, we’d like the shop to be lively and inviting so we’re looking for creative ideas, as well as those charities/groups that may have things to sell”.
The deadline for applications from those wishing to be considered for this fantastic opportunity is 5th November. Once applications are received they will be shortlisted by a panel of judges. OSA Recruitment would then like Islanders to help in choosing the four winning charities. Further information on how you can do this will be released when the shortlist is announced on 7th November.
“We hope that The OSA Charity Pop Up Shop will not only provide a fantastic addition to the High Street in the run up to Christmas, but we also hope that other landlords with empty shops may be inspired to offer their properties to house similar initiatives in the future,” said Sophie Gregson, Director.
OSA Recruitment has always been heavily involved with the community, offering service provision, financial help and sponsorship to charitable organisations where possible. After winning last year’s Community Award for their Corporate Social Responsibility, they have continued to explore ways in which they can contribute their time and resources to the Island’s community.
Application forms are available online at www.osa.gg and also from the OSA Recruitment offices at Top Floor, 22 Smith Street, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 2JQ, or follow our progress on Facebook OSArecruitment or Twitter OSARecruitment.
