Sportingbet Plc is now a fully quoted company on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.

The Company successfully transferred the listing of its entire issued ordinary share capital from AIM to a premium listing on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority (“Official List”) at 08.00 GMT on Friday 14th May.

Admission of Sportingbet’s ordinary shares to trading on London Stock Exchange main market for listed securities ("Main Market") and commencement of dealings also became effective from that time.

Sportingbet expects to be eligible for inclusion in the FTSE Indices at the September 2010 review.

Welcoming the Company’s move to the Main Market, Andrew McIver, Group Chief Executive, commented: “We are delighted to join the Official List of the London Stock Exchange today.

“We believe that the Official List is the most appropriate platform for the continued growth of the Company by increasing Sportingbet's profile, assisting in the liquidity of the Company's shares and providing a greater range of potential investors for the Company.”

Bob Dutnall, managing director of Sportingbet Europe said this was a fantastic development for the Company.

“This move will give us greater visibility and recognition as an established company and is a reflection of our growth; it is important that we continue building on this.

“Listing on the Main Market means greater corporate governance and an increased level of regulation which is something we welcome and will give investors even more confidence in Sportingbet. Only a handful of companies make the move up to the Main Market and we have worked extremely hard to achieve this.”
