Annemarie comments:

“I am looking forward to my new role at DQ and to continue developing our trust and private client team which provides a complete integrated service to local and international trust clients on contentious and non-contentious matters. DQ is a progressive and dynamic place to work and since I joined in late 2010, I have been impressed by the firm’s strong commitment to build the business, invest in new areas and offer the highest standards of service. We have a great team here and I am excited about the future.”

Tom Maher, DQ’s head of corporate and commercial, comments:

“The promotion of Annemarie to director and head of the trust and private client team is testament to her significant contribution in building this area of DQ’s business in the past year. Annemarie has a loyal and growing following of clients who value her technical skills as a specialist trust and pensions lawyer and her pragmatic approach. Our trust and private client team has seen significant growth in the past 12 months and we expect this growth to continue though 2012, particularly with the launch this month of the new Isle of Man foundation. Annemarie’s promotion to director demonstrates DQ’s continued commitment to this practice area. My fellow directors and I are delighted to welcome Annemarie to the DQ board.”
