I am confident that Robert will make a significant contribution to the development of Fairbairn Private Bank's business in the region.
“In welcoming Robert, I would also like to express my appreciation to Andrew Bates for the role he has played on secondment in setting up our London operation in readiness for this appointment. Andrew will shortly return to oversee our new operations in the UAE with effect from April 2012, and I wish both Andrew and Robert every success in their new roles.”
Robert Currie added: “I’m very pleased to have joined the Fairbairn Private Bank team. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to build upon the success already achieved and represent an award-winning bank. I look forward to playing my part in its continued growth and development.”
